Join us to listen and play at the
Mother's Day meetup
Join us Sunday, May 10 at 3:30 PM for the best Mother's Day meetup the Oklahoma Accordion Club ever had. Snacks welcome—bring your accordion or come as you are. Guests and trade-ins welcome.

If you can't attend the 3:30 PM meetup in person, you can experience some of it via Zoom - using the same codes (see red type below) you may have used in previous years. I'm told Zoom's musical sound quality has recently improved! So feel free to tune us in!

VP Ron and I invite you to this Sunday's Mother's Day Accordion Meeting on May 10 at 3:30 PM! It'll be hard to top last month's pizza meeting but we're gonna try! Recent guests have been dropping in and we hope you'll be there to help greet them! There are more people playing or thinking about playing accordion than you realize. Also if you have an accordion to sell or trade, bring it let a few peeps demonstrate it, or maybe trade it up for something more your speed or your desired heft! Heck, bring all your accordions—and all your friends! Oh yeah, and a snack is okay too! That's all, folks! ~ Mag & Ron
Mark those calendars! — Dick Albreski

THIS MEANT a LOT! Recently I played for a retirement center. A lady came up to me after I completed my performance and said, "I am 81 years old, and I never liked the accordion until today!" What a tremendous compliment!

Meeting minutes
Annual Pizza Party · Sunday, April 12, 2026
Twenty members and two guests attended.
The Oklahoma Accordion Club held a meeting on Sunday, April 12, 2026. It was our annual Pizza Party. Before the music program started we enjoyed delicious pizza from Hide Away. President Maggie Abel called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM. We recited the Pledge of Allegiance and sang "America The Beautiful." Tom Phillips said a prayer before we ate. Meeting was adjourned, and then Lois played a few more songs while the clean-up workers did their job. We will meet again on Sunday, May 10. The theme is Mother's Day or whatever anyone wants to play for us.
Performers: Anne Lopez, Lois Roth, Ron Shearon, Shayla Chavis-Smith, Wayne Turgeon, Robbie Rattan, John Warren
— Lois Roth, OAC Secretary
