Join us to listen and play at the
July meetup
Sunday, July 12 at 3:30 PM at Messiah Lutheran Church. Snacks welcome — bring your accordion or come as you are.

If you can't attend the 3:30 PM meetup in person, you can experience some of it via Zoom - using the same codes (see red type below) you may have used in previous years. I'm told Zoom's musical sound quality has recently improved! So feel free to tune us in!

Sadly, we received word that longtime Oklahoma Accordion Club member Cassi, mother of Anne Lopez, has passed on. Casimina H. Radicelli (née Contorno), affectionately known as "Cassi," went to be with the Lord on June 8, 2026, at the age of 101. Born in 1925, Cassi lived a life marked by faith, devotion to family, kindness, and unwavering love for those around her. A devoted Catholic, she lived her faith through her actions, always placing family, compassion, and service to others at the center of her life. Cassi was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jerry Radicelli, who passed away in June 2012. She graduated from John Hay High School in Cleveland in 1943 and was immediately hired by the White Motor Company as a secretary. Family and friends often joked that you could eat off her kitchen floor. Known for her bright smile, contagious laughter, and genuine warmth, Cassi made everyone feel welcome. More than anything, Cassi loved her family. Her legacy is one of faith, love, kindness, laughter, and quiet devotion.
Mark those calendars! — Dick Albreski

THIS MEANT a LOT! Recently I played for a retirement center. A lady came up to me after I completed my performance and said, "I am 81 years old, and I never liked the accordion until today!" What a tremendous compliment!
The ATG (Accordion Teachers Guild) will hold its 84th annual Festival in Salt Lake City, Utah, at the Salt Lake City Marriott University Park Hotel from July 8th to the 12th, 2026. This event will host many terrific accordionists plus concerts, competitions, jamming, and all-around accordion fun. Joey Miskulin, Radu Ratol, and Stas Venglevski are the headliners with JoAnn Sommers conducting the ATG orchestra. Joey Miskulin is also known as the CowPolka King. He started playing at the age of 13 with the Frankie Yankovic polka band. The ATG will also introduce ClubATG — an open mic back at the hotel with a cash bar.
