Sunday, April 12, 2009
There were 17 members and one visitor present.
• ill Henson recognized our visitor, John Lohmann, Roland's son. • A Big Squeeze has been scheduled for August 9. We may change our regular meeting date to accommodate the event. • Although our numbers were few, the music was great. • Roland Lohmann performed "Memories of Paris" by Frank Maracco. • Bill reported that the NAA in Texas was fun even though it rained the whole weekend. • Our club is going to start having quarterly workshops. Bob Mansfield will present the first one in May on bellows control and action. • Bob Mansfield performed "Wave" (Latin). • Jairon Baquero performed "Olive Blossoms" and "Gianina Mazurka." • Anne Lopez performed "Blue Hawaii" and "Roman Guitar." • Dick Albreski performed "Convoitois" (French waltz) and "Bel Viso" (Italian novelty). • Dan Orza performed "Waltz Allegro" by Charles Magnante. • Both Bill and Dan have keys to the church now, so there should be no more delays in starting the meeting due to someone running late.
