December meeting. Everyone is asked to bring Christmas treats so we can satisfy our sweet tooth! Treasurer Sil Lopez will be collecting your annual dues, $20 for single, $30 for a couple. The highlight of our Christmas party is the silent auction, held to raise money for the Youth Band. Be sure to bring your white elephants for the silent auction! Tickets will be sold prior to the auction, for $1.00 each, with discounts for 5, 10, and 20 ticket purchases. Our entertainment began with Lois Roth on her Scandalli accordion, and Barb Duer on her banjo, playing "Wooden Heart" and "Hofbrauhaus." Barb followed with an interesting ethnic accordion solo, a Yiddish number called "Chosjajka." Anne Lopez and Lois, the "Scandalli Sisters," serenaded us with "San Antonio Rose" and "Waltz Across Texas," followed by "The Eyes Of Texas."
